Staging
is showcasing the positives in your home by drawing
attention to them through the use of proper lighting, scale
and placement of furniture, and use of accessories to make
emotional connections. It uses what you already have along
with some key accessory items.
Should I
stage my home before it goes on the market…
This is
the ideal time, but it’s never too late. You want to make
your best first impression when your home is fresh on the
market and realtors are previewing your home for potential
buyers, as well as your first open house! However, if your
home has been sitting on the market a while you should
consider the cost of staging as a way to limit or avoid any
potential price reductions.
How much
does staging cost…
We know
it will cost less than your first price reduction, so invest
a little to make more. Pricing is usually based on square
footage. Contact us for pricing on consultations, action
reports, and staging days.
How do I
know which home stager to choose…
Choose
someone that knows your area well because they will have a
good idea of who your potential buyer is and what the
housing competition is in your neighborhood.
Choose
someone with whom you have a good rapport, has the
enthusiasm to get the job done, will stay within your
budget, and will respect your home and family.
